My name is Ben Long, and I am proudly running for Place 6 on the Princeton City Council in the upcoming municipal election.

About Me

I am a devoted husband to my wife, Nicole, and a proud father of three. Nicole and I will celebrate our twentieth wedding anniversary in December. Our family has called Princeton our home since 2020. Our eldest son recently graduated from Princeton High School with the class of 2022. Our daughter will be a senior at PHS, and my youngest son is an incoming freshman. This deep sense of family and the commitment I have to my community drives my desire to help guide Princeton towards a positive and prosperous future. If elected to Princeton’s city council, my mission will be to facilitate growth and ensure an enhanced quality of life for my neighbors, friends, and everyone who makes this community a great place to be.

I am a construction safety & health professional and actively serve as an Adult Leader in the Boy Scouts of America. Additionally, I am a current board member on my neighborhood’s Homeowners Association. These roles reflect my commitment to nurturing and fostering strong communities.

When I am not actively working or engaged in volunteer activities, some of my favorite hobbies involve my love for the outdoors including camping with my family, hiking, off-road bicycling, and gardening.

I am dedicated to making Princeton an even better place to live and I would be tremendously grateful for your support and vote for Ben Long for Princeton City Council, Place 6.

Don't miss it, Princeton ISD & City Council candidates, and city propositions are way down at the bottom of your ballot.

What a great morning getting to know neighbors and their concerns while block walking. I am a blessed man to live here in Princeton among some really good people. I followed that up with some large sign set ups. I hope to earn your support in the upcoming municipal elections this November!
